First tip. Don't EVER buy a bike from Dick's or Walmart and expect to get your money's worth.
To try and stay in that price range This doesn't look too bad.

You'll be wasting your money if you cheap out on a bike. You'll be much better off getting the Hoffman I suggested. It'll stay nicer for longer and you'll never NEED to buy new parts, just what you WANT to buy. Trust me, it sucks to have a part break after you just spent all your cash on another new part, and not be able to ride until you can fix the broken one.

ive been looking on craigslist but i stopped cuz ima get the diamondback grind and get new cranks and sprocket. but ill check craigslist agin tonight. and i might get the bike tommorow i dont really care if its a "good" bike or not. as long as the cranks dont bend before i have enough money to buy new ones. and i might get it tommrow. so im just exited to have a bike to ride instead of my crappy huffy thats in pieces right now.

Actually give it about a week, and it will begin to fall apart. It's gonna be so much more expensive buying a shitty bike and then buying all these new parts for it. You just wasted every penny you put into that bike,

yeap the weight isent just in the forks on a shitty bike its in every part so your gunna replace ever part on it as it breaks then your frame is gunna break and your gunna have to buy a new one same thing happened to my friend just cause he couldent wait and save up a little he had to have a bike right now and went out and bought a shitty heavy one

okay, i know its not a "good" bike. im planning on getting new parts soon on it so it will almost be "good". and if something breaks ill replace it. if i stick with bmx. im not sure how long ill stick with it too. thats part of the reason i didnt get a nice bike.
